 Today was the solar eclipse! Eli and I wanted to see it, so we hiked up this mountain near the freeway and had this lovely view:

On the way up to our perch on the side of the mountain, I almost stepped on a snake! It was like 4 ft long and it was really thick around. It was big. And I didn't see it until I almost stepped on it! Near-death experience.

To see the eclipse, Eli brought his Dad's welding goggles. Lovely.
