Our ward held a Break-the-Fast together today! It was great, we had like thirty frozen pizzas :) AWESOME! We have a great ward :)

Here was my FB post last night. I'm reposting this because I don't have time right now to type out my whole testimony, and this kind of sums it up.

Read it. This is important.
"I've never been one to force my beliefs upon anyone... But I just want to say that if your not LDS, man you have no idea what you are missing out on. This church is the true church on earth today. We have a real living prophet, just like in the Bible. And it is awesome to hear from him. I know God lives and I know He loves me and every single person on this earth. The Book of Mormon is true scripture. Read it, and you'll know it's from God. I am a Mormon. I am a Christian."

Lauren and I happened upon some tickets to the General Relief Society Broadcast! So we adventured downtown to go to the meeting. It was awesome :)

Of course we had to stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

I very much enjoyed my chocolate covered pretzel...

Some lady was passing out tissues for all the sisters headed to the conference. What a nice lady! And how important to have tissues at a General RS Meeting, right??? Very important.

...until you find out upon entering the Conference Center that those innocent little tissues are not so innocent. There was anti-Mormon lit. in it. We threw away the whole tissue thing. What a waste of money and time for that lady. I mean really. But I have to admit, she was rather sneaky and clever!

We're here! Lauren and I!

Oh man I love this girl :)

My future husband and I's first picture together in front of the temple!

My heel got stuck- literally stuck- in the little grate. We got it out eventually, don't you worry haha but it was pretty darn hilarious

Lauren and I then made our way to Nana and Papa's where we enjoyed a lovely healthy home-cooked meal made with love and vegetables. SCORE! :)

Caution: the following image may be disturbing for children

A certain roomate who shall remain nameless (Kris) cooked some rice a week or two ago and has just left it chillin in her rice cooker since then. Here is a picture. It looked and smelled absolutely disgusting

Longboarding with Jordan, Brett, Kevin, and a random girl we picked up on the way there (??) haha

Football game! We dominated Hawaii

Me and John-

John and I went grocery shopping today. John needed a ride, which was why we went together. Everyone in the store thought we were a married couple haha
The Story of This Picture: I asked a lady to take a pic of us shopping with our shopping cart. She asked if it was our first shopping trip together. I said yes because... it was.... and then later realized that she meant our first shopping trip together, if ya know what I mean. Haha fun stuff. We had a couple other people comment on it. It was funny :)

My hair looked awesome today and I got several comments on it :)

My Ward calling is the Relief Society Activity Chair. We had our first activity tonight! Only like ten people showed up.... but that's ok, it still turned out great and we had a blast (those of us who were there!)

This is the finger that got mauled by the piece of wood. I can stick the toothpick of my Army Knife down the nail, and it doesn't even hurt! Weird, huh?? I may or may not have realized this during my 'study time'....

Went up to Salt Lake for my Navy Trip Application!

Temple: It was a lovely overcast day :)

Church Office Buildings! Going to the seventh floor :)

of course I had to take a picture with the flowers:

Ok I don't know if I've explained this, but I'll explain it for posterity. So every year, the US Navy takes a ship (either the Comfort or the Mercy) out to do a Humanitarian Trip for 5 months every summer. This upcoming trip will be to South America. So for 5 months, this ship will stop at several ports along South America to provide medical care to those that need it. The Navy works with several non-governmental organizations to fill the many volunteer spots they need. I have signed up with LDS Charities. I have volunteered/applied to be a CNA aboard the ship, with a little bit of Spanish-speaking ability. So that is what the interview was for. I really really really really really want to go on this trip. It is awesome! And a family friend (Mindy Gill.... formerly Mindy Daines) went on the trip and had an amazing experience. So I hope I get lucky enough to go! But yeah, that's that :)

I got this lovely note from a random guy on my way to work. I didn't realize that my gray and black striped ref uniform brought out my eyes! :P Needless to say, it was strange but nice to get this little note, and I loved the flower :)

Ultimate! Megan, Katie, Nick, Lindsay, Me, Geoff, Josh, Mindy, Nate, Colin and Chris... Like our orange smiles??

 Temple :)

Went down to Salt Lake to spend the night at Nana and Papa's because I have my Navy Trip interview in the morning. Since Nana and Papa weren't there, I hung out with Eli. He helped me with my Spanish homework. I've missed hanging out with this guy!

Today the Brigham City Temple was dedicated! It was a great dedication :) I got to watch it in the Marriott Center.

Here are my two white hankies. Both are from France- my parents got them for me for these very occasions. They are so pretty :)

A 'nice' picture of me by the BYU sign... in honor of Mom :)

My kind of picture by the BYU sign. In honor of me :)

Aspen, Kelsi, Alyssa and Jessica all came to my place to have Sunday Dinner! Kelsi made us waffles :)

After Ward Prayer, I watched Hot Rod with these lovely folks from the ward: Aaron (aka Dooley), Andy (?), Me, Tyler, Brianna and Jordan :)

Went on a date with Cesar (aka Papi) tonight! It was super fun- we went bowling and then got some DQ with two other couples. Both of the couples were Jordan and Kristin. Super easy to remember names the whole night :)

Make tomato soup for dinner :)

Nutella cookies recipe off of Pinterest... not bad... :)

I'm pretty sure we watched Ever After as well. I love chillin with my roomie :)

Please excuse the PG-13 humor...

I was kind of sick of always being the one to do dishes. So I decided to add humor to the situation while getting my point across. I think it worked.

"Dishes are like boyfriends... do your own!"

I woke up early today (...maybe not early... but definitely earlier than normal for me :P)
I started getting ready to go to the temple.
I reached down to open my bathroom drawer without looking.
That little piece of wood got shoved up that poor middle finger and had to be pulled out with that pair of mini Swiss Army Knife tweezers. Yeah, that was cool.

But I made it to the temple without having to cut my finger off :)

I got shot!!

We had Stake Conference today in the Marriott Center! As you can tell, we kind of got crappy seats... I didn't realize it was a Regional Stake Conference... But that's ok, it was still excellent :) We had Elder Dallin H Oaks speak! :)

When we were walking back, I wanted a picture with the BYU Sign because I don't have one yet (I know, crazy huh??) But then I saw it was plastic-wrapped to protect it from any potential vandalism that tends to happen around rivalry football games. I took a picture with it anyway :)

Adventures on the way back from Stake Conference! Jesus <3's You, FYI

Heated up my leftover Pumpkin Curry for lunch! DELICIOUS :)

John was sending his sister a fancy birthday date invitation. To make it look even fancier, he came over and used some wax from Lauren's lavender-scented candle to make a wax seal... Didn't work... but it smelled nice :)
